Late Georgian/Regency 1800-1837
The terrace house had now become very popular and started to appear in every town or city. Key points to look for are short sash windows on the ground floor, tall on the first floor and smaller again above that. During the regency period came the addition of cast iron balconies or railings, as well as columns and cornices. Many of the regency buildings had the brickwork covered in painted plaster to give the impression of stone.
